Who We Are
The Jesus Way Intl. was established in the year 1998 by Mathew & Angel Meagher. The 3 main focuses of The Jesus Way are:
1. Mercy Ministries: This includes many areas such as, the orphanage, residential English Medium school for poor labor & street children, widows, free medical & eye glass clinics, Food & Clothes distribution, Literacy programs for Adults.
2. Church planting: Planting indigenous churches in rural unreached parts of India.
3. Bible School: Training & equipping nationals.
Why
Almost 2 million children in India die every year before reaching their first birthdays. 800,000 children die every year from easily preventable diseases like diarrhea. Children from 100 million families live without water at home, 150 million families live in households without electricity.
Less than half of India's children between the age 6 and 14 go to school. Only 60% of Indian children (228 million below age 14 ) reach 5th grade, and many of those 'completing' primary school cannot read or write.
The only people reaching out to these children are doing it to exploit them! These children deserve more than a life of child labour, sex trafficking & being disfigured so they can beg!Jesus Loved the little children & He Said “As you do it for the LEAST of these, you do it unto ME!”ITS TIME to stop looking the other way & start making a difference in these young lives!
